Rick Owens White Shirt​

Rick Owens White Shirt is a plain white tee. Crew neck, short sleeves, made from cotton jersey. Body’s straight, a little longer than you’d expect from a basic shirt. Back has a seam running down the center you see on other pieces from the line.

At the neckline, easy to walk right past if you’re not paying attention. Front’s got nothing on it. No pocket. No branding at all, aside from that one small marker that’s easy to miss on a Rick Owens piece this stripped down.

The Small Tab Nobody Notices

Rest of the shirt is about as plain as a shirt gets, so that tab at the back neck is really the only thing worth pointing out. It’s not a logo. Doesn’t read as decoration either. More like something left over from production, on purpose or not. Still, it’s the one thing on the whole garment telling you it isn’t some unbranded blank.

How It Wears

Pictured with black cropped trousers and black sneakers, and the white does most of the work just by contrast. No need for anything else going on. Being this plain also means it works fine under a Rick Owens Jacket, no added bulk.

Throw on a pair of Rick Owens Geobasket and that same black-white contrast goes even further, though the shirt holds up fine by itself too.
